The exhibition fight between Mike Tyson, 54, and Roy Jones Jr, 51, was postponed from September 12 to November 28, the former world heavyweight champion announced on Tuesday on the internet, caught by the boxing bug .

This postponement, announced on the TMZ Sports website, is intended "to give more people the opportunity to witness the biggest comeback in boxing history," the legendary Tyson modestly explains in a communicated. And he advises his future opponent "to be ready" because he will be "at the top of his form".

The event's promotional company, dubbed Thriller, points out that the extended Thanksgiving weekend will be more suited to "this historic battle" which is already generating "enormous interest" and will be the first in a series called the "Thrillers. Battles "(battles of suspense, literally).

Two more fights were announced on Tuesday, to complete the November 28 program. One will pit Blake McKernan against Badou Jack, former world champion in two weight categories and former opponent of Floyd Mayweather.

Another fight is planned between Briton Viddal Riley and Rashad Coulter, who was in MMA until 2018 as part of the UFC circuit. We already knew that Jake Paul was going to fight, the same evening, a former star of the NBA, Nate Robinson.
