According to RIA Novosti, the arrests began on Victory Square near the "Minsk - Hero City" stele.

Opponents of the incumbent head of state Alexander Lukashenko gathered in the square, and there are special police vehicles. Several ambulance crews are on duty at the site. The traffic of vehicles is blocked.

According to the exit poll of the Mir TV company, the current head of state, Alexander Lukashenko, wins the presidential elections in Belarus. 

According to the CEC at 18:00, the turnout was 79%. A total of 5,767 polling stations operated, including 44 abroad.
