The "Young Economists Program" aims to attract 50 young men and women of promising talents and qualifications to participate in the first session of the program and start a new stage in their working life and prepare them to be the leaders of the national economy in the future, and build on the economic achievements and achievements of the UAE over decades.

His Highness stressed that the UAE youth possess the experiences, talents and abilities that qualify them to play a greater role in shaping the features of the future of the homeland and the region according to an innovative vision through hard and sincere work in studying the capabilities, mechanisms and all ways that guarantee our leadership and enhance our competitiveness in various vital sectors. His Highness, pointing out that the Emirates has a forward-looking vision based on youth, their creative energies and capabilities to continue achieving the goals of sustainable development, anticipating the future and enhancing the quality of life and well-being of society.

His Highness urged the youth of the homeland to participate in the young economists program because of its promising opportunities to enter the world of economics and excellence in it and benefit from the experiences enjoyed by its teaching and training cadres.

The "Young Economists Program" targets 50 young men and women from the UAE youth to study rich economic content in cooperation with more than 20 partners from the governmental and private sector institutions and global homes of expertise in the areas of economic work, and then qualify them to work in national and international economic organizations.
The criteria for accepting youth include being between the ages of 21 and 35, in addition to obtaining a bachelor’s degree in economics or related disciplines, in addition to mastering the Arabic and English languages.
The program aims to educate Emirati youth about the importance of specializing in the economic field, building and preparing national leaders capable of leading the future of the UAE in the field of economics, and activating the role of Emirati youth to build the future economy.
The program’s partners include the Ministry of Economy, the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, the Department of Economic Development in Dubai, the Dubai International Financial Center, the Dubai Financial Market, the Emirates Center for Research and Strategic Studies, the Dubai Center for the Development of Islamic Economy, and Emaar Properties , Mubadala Investment Company, International Monetary Fund, Regional Center for Middle East Technical Assistance "METAC" of the International Monetary Fund, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC Bank, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company ADNOC, Arab "CNBC", Bloomberg, Magazine Harvard Business Review, Structure Media, Wamda Foundation for Entrepreneurship in the Middle East and North Africa, The National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises and Enterprises, and CFA.
The program includes three intensive months during which more than 60 series of training courses, workshops and field visits are organized, and meetings with the most prominent experts, leaders and economic policy makers. It also provides the enrolled with the opportunity to obtain vocational training and participate in local and international economic conferences, in addition to studying and discussing a group of the most prominent Books and reports on economics, developments and global changes with the participation of a selection of leaders involved in economic work from both the government and private sectors, and participants will have an opportunity to meet with some prominent leaders.
