"An employee of the UNK of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was detained in Moscow, who tried to get an illegal monetary reward in the amount of 1 million 500 thousand rubles for the termination of verification activities against the organization," the statement said.
As noted, the detention was carried out by operatives of the regional departments of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Details are not disclosed.
The department informed that in case of guilt, the employee will be dismissed from the police department and will be punished in accordance with the law.
In April, in Sochi, two police officers were accused of receiving a bribe of 2 million rubles.
