For a whole week, David Sjöström and his friend Ariel Cicero have been out to reconnoiter the conditions around Lapporten or Čuonjávággi, which is the official name of the valley.
In September, he will return with the entire team of twelve people to tighten the line between the peaks and make the more than 2.2 kilometer long line hike, which will also be a world record for so-called highline.
- But primarily it is about going over Lapporten because it is such an iconic place, he says.
