In June, the government eased the requirement for distance education at colleges and universities, and now Mälardalen University has issued a plan for how the autumn term will be handled.

Closed to the public

It will thus be a mixture of distance education and teaching on campus. You will also not allow any visitors other than students and staff.

Priority is given to having first- and second-semester students on site, as well as examinations and laboratory work.

Home study if possible

The university's website also states that students are encouraged to study at home as much as possible, keep their distance - and stay home at the slightest symptom of illness.

It has not yet been determined exactly which courses and parts will be given on site or at a distance.
