In one of her articles, the Israeli Jerusalem Post celebrated a Saudi professor who published a research paper in the Hebrew language in a magazine issued by the University of Tel Aviv, in which he said that the Prophet Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - had a good relationship with the Jews.

The newspaper said that the author of the research paper, Muhammad al-Ghabban, is the head of the Department of Languages and Hebrew Studies at King Saud University, and his research came under the title "Contributing to improving the image of the Prophet Muhammad in the eyes of the Israeli public: Muhammad's alliances and correspondence with the Jews of the Arabian Peninsula."

This is a precedent, the first of its kind, according to the Hebrew media. Al-Ghabban said in his article that the Prophet of Islam established good relations with the Jews, and clashed with them on political matters only, not religious at all, according to the same source.

The Jerusalem Post indicated that he wanted his research to make it clear that the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, had a good relationship with the Jews.

The newspaper quoted Ra'anan Ran, from Tel Aviv University, as saying that he hoped that the Gabban paper would be another step on the path of economic and political cooperation.

The article indicates that the publication of the research paper coincides with calls in Riyadh to cooperate with the Jews and Israel in order to bring peace!
