The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recorded 2,852 new cases of the new Corona virus (Covid-19) yesterday, while Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh directed the branches of the Ministry in the regions of the Kingdom to approve the establishment of Eid Al-Adha prayers for the current year in mosques and prestigious mosques Only, and to ensure that it is not erected in open chapels in light of the exceptional circumstances, taking into account the preventive measures issued by the competent authorities.
In a circular issued to the general branches of the ministry in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the minister stressed the importance of preparing all mosques as well as additional mosques prepared to receive worshipers during Eid prayers.
The Saudi Ministry of Health announced the registration of 2,852 new cases of coronavirus yesterday, bringing the total number of infections to 235 thousand and 111 injuries, as well as recording 20 deaths, bringing the total to 2243 deaths, and recording 2704 cases of recovery, bringing the total number of recovering cases to 169 thousand and 842 cases .
The ministry stated that it has conducted more than two million and 270 thousand laboratory tests to detect patients with the emerging coronavirus, by means of advanced molecular polymerization (PCR TEST) tests since the first infection was recorded until yesterday.
The ministry added that it continues to intensify laboratory tests through many effective measures that contributed to the early detection of cases affected by Corona, and to take rapid measures to deal with them, as these measures included the implementation of an expanded examination through the field teams of the Ministry of Health to conduct an active survey.
On the other hand, the Sultanate of Oman recorded within 24 hours 2164 confirmed cases of the emerging coronavirus.
The Omani Ministry of Health stated that the total cases infected with the virus amounted to 58 thousand and 179 cases, while the total deaths amounted to 259 deaths, noting that the total number of similar cases of recovery amounted to 37 thousand and 257 cases.
In Iraq, the health authorities announced the registration of 2,229 new cases of the emerging coronavirus within 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases since the outbreak of the epidemic to 79,735 cases.
The Iraqi Ministry of Health stated in a press statement that 100 new deaths were recorded, which raised the total death to 3250, while 2,274 new heals were recorded, bringing the total recovery cases to 46 thousand and 998 cases, indicating the presence of 412 injured in intensive care.
Within 24 hours, Palestine recorded 298 confirmed cases of the new Corona virus, and the Palestinian Ministry of Health indicated that the total cases infected with the virus amounted to 6036 cases, while the total deaths reached 41, indicating that the outcome of similar cases of recovery amounted to 1258 cases.
