“According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day on July 10, 83 forest fires on an area of 6,267 ha were eliminated in Russia,” the agency’s press service quotes TASS.
It is noted that the largest number of fires was recorded in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Total fires were detected in 20 Russian regions.
Earlier it became known that in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, due to the established hot weather, a special fire regime is in effect. Residents are not allowed to visit the forests until July 29.
