A Palestinian youth was martyred Thursday evening by the Israeli occupation forces' bullets in the village of Kafel Haris in the town of Salfit, in the northern West Bank, according to what Palestinian sources said.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the young man arrived in a very critical condition to Salfit Governmental Hospital, as a result of a live bullet in the neck, which led to his death, and there was no immediate comment from the Israeli army about the incident.

For his part, Mayor of Salfit Salfit Abdullah Kamil reported that the martyr is Ibrahim Mustafa Abu Yaqoub (29 years) from the village of Kafel Haris, and the occupation forces shot him "and killed him in cold blood while he was walking normally with some of his friends."

The occupation forces announced earlier that they had shot two young men on the pretext of throwing a Molotov cocktail on a settlement road near the "Ariel" settlement, and that one of the two youths was wounded in the foot and arrested, while the other managed to withdraw.

The Islamic Resistance Movement mourned the death of the martyr Abu Yaqoub, and invited the people of the people in Salfit governorate to participate actively in the funeral procession of the martyr and Friday prayers that will be held on the land of the guardian guard in response to the crime of occupation.
