According to Ouest-France , striker Farid El Melali missed the SCO training session on Wednesday morning. And for good reason: the Algerian was in police custody for acts of "sexual exhibition".
At the start of May, 23-year-old Farid El Melali had already been heard for a similar offense. A young woman had complained. According to police, the player had masturbated in a private courtyard in front of the accommodation of an adult neighbor. The Angevin footballer from Sco had apologized via his Instagram account.
Heard by the public prosecutor this summer
It is not yet known whether this second crime occurred before or after the one which led to his first police custody in early May. Also according to Ouest-France , it was anyway expected that the public prosecutor of Angers would hear him, during the summer, within the framework of an appearance on preliminary recognition of guilt.
According to article 222-32 of the Penal Code, whoever has played eight Ligue 1 games this season with Angers for a total of three goals scored risks a year in prison and a fine of 15,000 euros. The SCO could also decide to sanction it.
