Yesterday, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced the registration of 49 new deaths from the Corona virus, taking the total number of deaths in the Kingdom as a result of infection with the virus, to 2017.
The ministry, in a press statement on its website, mentioned that 3392 new cases of the virus were recorded, taking the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 217 thousand and 108 cases.
She pointed to the registration of 5205 new cases of recovery, bringing the total number of those who recovered to 154 thousand and 839 people.
In Kuwait, the Ministry of Health announced yesterday that it recorded four new deaths from the emerging coronavirus, taking the total deaths from Covid-19 to 377.
The ministry said 601 new infections were recorded.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Health in the Sultanate of Oman announced the registration of six new deaths from the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total deaths in the Sultanate to 224.
The ministry said 1,262 new infections were recorded.
For its part, the Moroccan Ministry of Health announced yesterday that two new deaths were registered with the new Corona virus, taking the total deaths in the Kingdom as a result of infection with the virus to 239 cases.
In the Palestinian Territories, the number of deaths from the Corona virus rose yesterday to 22, while the total number of infections exceeded 5,000. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that in the past 24 hours, 306 new cases of the virus had been recorded, in addition to one death. In a statement, the ministry added that among the new injuries, 278 were in Hebron Governorate.
