The new Prime Minister Jean Castex paid a surprise visit Sunday evening to the police officers of La Courneuve, in Seine-Saint-Denis, to support the police, found an AFP journalist.
This move comes after a dinner between the head of government and Emmanuel Macron at the Elysée Palace while the two men are preparing the composition of the new government which should be announced on Monday afternoon.
He was greeted by the prefect of Paris police Didier Lallement who announced Thursday that the Company of Security and Intervention (CSI) of Seine-Saint-Denis, including four agents have just been indicted for "facts d 'a particular gravity', was going to be 'dissolved'.
