Against this backdrop, Mayor Iyosano's Chiyomatsu visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications on the afternoon of the 2nd, and submitted a request letter to Hideyuki Kaide, the Director General of the Internal Taxation Bureau, to allow early participation.
After that, Mayor Chiyomatsu told reporters, "I would like to prepare a reward in good compliance with the current law," regarding what to do if the participation is approved.
