China News Service, July 1 (Xinhua)-According to Peru's "Public News", the data released by the Peruvian Ministry of Health on June 30 showed that Peru had a total of 285,213 cases of new coronary pneumonia and a total of 9677 deaths. Beginning on July 1, Peru will begin targeted isolation of regions.

According to regulations, children and adolescents under the age of 14 in Peru, as well as people at high risk of new coronavirus infection (such as elderly people over 65 and patients with basic diseases determined by the Ministry of Health), and seven provinces with severe epidemics must comply with mandatory social Isolation regulations. In addition, the Peruvian government decided to continue to close the border and suspend international passenger transportation by land, sea and air.

In Peru, people must keep a social safety distance of at least one meter away from others if they need to go out. Children and adolescents under 14 years of age go out for a one-hour walk every day. When they go out, they must be accompanied by an adult who lives in the same house. The range of going out should not exceed 500 meters. Teenagers and children under 14 years of age are not allowed to go to shopping centers, closed or crowded public places.

At the same time, the government will continue to conduct virus screening, strengthen health services, use information technology to monitor people infected with the new coronavirus, and properly manage solid waste.

According to reports, Peruvian banks and other financial institutions, farmers' markets, supermarkets, shopping centers and other food sales centers can only receive 50% of the passenger capacity. People entering the public places need to be disinfected in advance and mandatory use of masks to maintain a safe social distance. The Peruvian Armed Forces and the Peruvian National Police will monitor compliance with these regulations.
