- The water that is in the watercourses is needed for animal and plant life to pass, says Peter Landergren, environmental and water unit at the county administrative board.

The relatively dry spring and early summer are the cause of the very low water levels. And although it is likely to turn to cooler and unstable weather, the forecast for the next week is that the water flow will decrease even more.

- We now believe that withdrawals from watercourses can damage public or individual interests and therefore urge anyone who does not have permission to avoid withdrawals from watercourses. Water reporting should be reported.

The County Administrative Board also recommends thrift with other water withdrawals.
