Some 70 entrepreneurs and bosses expressed their support for the work of the Citizens' Climate Convention in a column published in the Journal du Dimanche. "The world is changing, our customers are changing, our employees are changing. Our companies must therefore change", note the signatories. 

Directors of Danone, Actes Sud or Biocoop, some 70 entrepreneurs and bosses express their support for the work of the Citizens' Climate Convention, in a forum published on Sunday. "We, a collective of networks of entrepreneurs and businesses, support the approach and the ambitions of the citizen convention for the climate", says this text published in the Journal du Dimanche, one day before President Emmanuel Macron receives the 150 members of the Convention and provides "a first response" to their proposals.

"Our businesses must therefore change"

"The world is changing, our customers are changing, our employees are changing. Our companies must therefore change", note the signatories. "We believe that our businesses will not have a sustainable future in a world dependent on carbon energies. We will therefore take your proposals to deepen the economic conditions and include them in a roadmap consistent with our social responsibilities. We Let us urge each company, including when it does not approve all of the proposals that you make, to do the same, "they add.

Among the signatories are the CEOs of Danone Emmanuel Faber and Euler Hermes France Eric Lenoir, as well as the CEO of Harmonie Mutuelle, Catherine Touvrey. Also signed by the president of the Center for young leaders Pierre Minodier, the patron of Actes Sud and ex-Minister of Culture Françoise Nyssen, the president of Biocoop Pierrick de Ronne, the president of KissKissBankBank Vincent Ricordeau and the chef Olivier Roellinger.
