A 7.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was felt Tuesday morning in southern Mexico, according to the National Seismological Service.

The epicenter of this earthquake, of which it is not yet known whether it caused casualties, is located in the locality of Crucecita, in the state of Oaxaca, in the south of the country, the institute said. It has been felt in several districts of the capital Mexico.
