The alarm sounded in the middle of a hearing. This Monday noon, the courthouses of Saint-Etienne (Loire) and Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme) were evacuated for more than an hour and a half due to a bomb threat.

A person called the Clermont court to indicate, according to Le Progrès, that bombs had been placed in the two courthouses and had to explode before 1 p.m. The two sites were therefore evacuated while the police searched the premises.

At around 2:30 p.m., after a careful inspection, the alert was lifted and hearings were resumed in the two courthouses. An investigation will be carried out to find the trace of the bad joker (s).
