They couldn't do anything. Residents of Bulh-Lorraine, in Moselle, were surprised to see an ULM flying at very low altitude before it disappeared with a crash. The facts occurred around 6 p.m. Sunday, reports the Republican East . The pilot finally crashed behind a dwelling house, very close to the Sarrebourg Buhl aerodrome where he was supposed to land. The pilot, aged about fifty, died.

The neighbors, however, rushed to help him. In vain. When they arrived, the 50-something "did not react," said a witness. Rescue, elected officials and PAF police intervened to secure the crash site and conduct the first investigations to determine the causes of the accident. Still according to our colleagues, the victim was going for a ride with friends, each in his aircraft.
