Everything was very quickly Thursday for this 18-year-old young man, who tried to hold up a tobacco press in Colomiers, in the Toulouse suburbs. Around noon, he entered the store, masked and equipped with a knife. To get the box back, he threatened the manager with his gun.

But the latter, instead of giving him the money, sprayed him with tear gas. The post-adolescent fled, but not very far or very long.

Quickly caught up

Alerted, the police from the Colomiers proximity security group (GSP) quickly arrested the young man, who corresponded to the description they had been given, and was still suffering from the effects of the “tear gas”. Placed in police custody, he was referred this Friday to the Toulouse court, for an immediate appearance Monday.
