The state of the demonstration was for 50 people - but it was significantly more than was shown at the manifesto in Stockholm. Something that has raised critical voices from several directions.

The organizer responds

Now Ibbe Chune, one of the organizers, responds to the criticism. In an Instagram post, she writes that throughout the demonstration, they had close contact with the police and followed their directives.

"It is a fact that we are in a current pandemic and that people are dying but that so many people chose to show up despite health risks shows how REALLY the black are being exposed to," she writes.

She also writes that the demonstration was organized for good purpose and that they never ever wanted to hurt anyone or spread the infection.

"You are only looking for a scapegoat, even better a young black girl who will be responsible for all of Sweden's actions in the pandemic."

The organizers have previously told SVT News that the permit was for 50 people, but that they did not have the opportunity to know how many would come. They should have asked the participants in the manifestation to keep their distance and use hand spirit.
