Europe: from north to south, reopening of the borders à la carte

Southern Europe is opening up to European travelers to save the essential economic sector of tourism, but Northern Europe is playing it safe and advising to stay within its own borders.

Italy reopens its borders to European tourists , Greece authorizes flights from 29 countries, including fifteen from the European Union, as of June 15, and the Spaniards still confined to their respective provinces will be free to circulate on July 1, their borders will be opened for foreign tourists. 

Meanwhile, northern Europeans who usually vacation in southern Europe remain cautious. Denmark announced the opening on June 15 of its borders to German, Norwegian and Icelandic nationals but to avoid super contamination, it postpones until the end of summer the entry into its territory of nationals of other countries of the European Union and United Kingdom. 

Norwegians are requested for the time being to limit their stays abroad to Denmark only. The Swedish case concerned, betting on herd immunity Sweden has a mortality rate well above the coronavirus that of its neighbors. As for Belgium, it will also reopen its borders from June 15 to member countries of the European Union as well as to the United Kingdom. 

A reopening of the borders à la carte which still weighs a lot of uncertainty on the holidays of Europeans.
