US President Donald Trump has criticized the governors' response to the racial unrest that has taken place over the past six nights in the country following the death of George Floyd.

Trump, in a teleconference with the governors, has assured that they must be stricter in their response to the protests and increase the arrests of protesters in order to control them.

"You have to dominate them, if you do not dominate them you are wasting time. They are going to pass over you, you are going to be like a bunch of idiots, " said the president, according to the audio of the conversation obtained by the CBS television network .
