Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre said he informed the players with one sentence between the two halves of the match and before he scored six goals in a 6-1 victory over Paderborn in the German Bundesliga on Sunday.

After a first half without goals, Dortmund rained the goal of his opponent in the second half and came out with a great victory to become seven points from leaders Bayern Munich, five rounds before the end.

"I told the players one sentence during the break, which is, we need to continue what we are doing," Favre told the club's website. "We pressed nicely and exhausted the opponent, and it was clear that he could not continue playing that rhythm until the end. We wanted to ensure that counter-attacks against us were not used."

"We managed to play with the same first-half strength, and the only change that happened was the players moving on the side of the field. When everything was done, the score was 6-1."

Dortmund has been providing a great offensive ball this season, and since the resumption of the domestic league last month - after stopping in March due to the Corona Virus pandemic - it has managed to achieve three victories in which it scored 12 goals, in return for a single 1-0 defeat against Bayern last week.
