The Department of Economic Development in Ajman has identified 11 precautionary measures that barbershops intended for children must follow to ensure the safety of their workers and customers from coronavirus infection (Covid 19).

And it has defined precautions for cinemas that must be checked before receiving their visitors, to allow them to continue to provide their services.

The department stressed the importance of adhering to the preventive measures before the establishments operating in the emirate resumed their activities, noting, in a guide obtained by «Emirates Today», that children's salons will follow the procedures established for adult salons with additional measures, the most important of which is that the pioneers are children only, and follow a system Reservation, commitment to social distance, and child and worker wearing face mask.

She added that she had specified procedures for accompanying children to barbershops, as an adult (under 60 years old) can supervise up to three children, so that one child is allowed to enter the salon.

She stressed obliging salons to sterilize tools, as well as requiring them to disinfect surfaces and chairs after each visit, in addition to motivating children to wash hands, check their temperature when arriving, and prevent those with symptoms from entering.

She stated that she had set a set of requirements for cinemas, including not allowing children under the age of 12, the elderly over 60, and people with health problems, to enter the showroom. Providing hands disinfection devices, checking visitors' temperature at the entrances, and wearing obligatory masks for visitors.

It also obligated the staff to check the temperature, wear masks and gloves, and adhere to social distance.

It encouraged clients to pre-book and purchase tickets online to avoid contact, and allow food and beverages in cinemas, provided they are provided in single-use boxes and cups.

She emphasized that 3D and 3D movies should not be shown.
