- I always have easy to bring to the media because I am such a person who always respond to mail and phone, but it has been completely impossible to catch all the smattering in the mobile phone and the mail during the pandemic, says infection control doctors Anders Nystedt.

He can describe the pandemic in three words:

- Oh, so much work, but no, it was four words, says Anders Nystedt.

But despite the fact that the contagion doctor has worked unusually for a long time with the serious situation the pandemic has left the world and Norrbotten in, he says that the batteries have not run out yet and that he is quite stress resistant.

- It takes a lot because I am a long distance runner, but it is also so fantastic to have a job you are interested in and I can slow in when I feel that it will be too much. Because even though the pandemic is tragic when many people are affected and people die, it is very exciting to work in times like these, says Anders Nystedt.

Hard to get up

He says he needs up to seven hours of sleep to work in the stressful situation.

-Also I am like a teenager, late nights go well but early mornings are really hard so I make sure I get to the bus in the morning because then I have to get up, because it does not wait. But during the worst spread of infection I had to take the car, says Anders Nystedt.

New questions are constantly emerging regarding this virus, how high in the ceiling do you think you have had it on the infection protection unit when discussing measures in Norrbotten, for example?

- There have been lots of discussions, both high and low and a lot of thought, but when our meeting has ended we have pretty much agreed, says Anders Nystedt.

What has been worst for you personally during this time?

- It is always shit easy to be late, but possibly I think we would have supported the elderly care from infection protection earlier, says Anders Nystedt.
