The balance sheet of deconfinement appears to be contrasted in France, according to an exclusive BVA survey for Europe 1 and Orange published this Thursday shortly before the announcements of Edouard Philippe on act II of deconfinement. Indeed, 63% of French people draw a positive assessment of these first weeks for themselves and for their loved ones. It is four points less than 10 days ago.

The feeling that "the worst is before us" receding ...

The positive point of deconfinement is firstly the decline in the feeling that the worst is yet to come. If 75% of French people still say they are afraid of catching the coronavirus, the survey points out, and it is a first since March 19, that the proportion of French people believing that "the worst is ahead" (30%) is lower the proportion of people who think the situation will remain stable (35%). Figures that coincide with the marked improvement in the perception of the evolution of the epidemic, which is considered "positive" by 57% of French people, ie 7 points more than in the last poll, on May 18.

... but still limited confidence in the authorities' handling of the crisis

On the other hand, the French remain however a minority (31%) to trust in the management of the coronavirus crisis by the government. A proportion down by one point compared to the last poll, May 18. As for the confidence of information in the media, it reached 38%, up four points since the last score.

59% of respondents want the reopening of parks and gardens

The French also have expectations about the aftermath of the deconfinement. No less than 54% of those polled are in favor of reopening bars and restaurants in June, but only 26% nationwide. Conversely, 28% of those questioned only want to reopen in the green zone. A craze that is also found for places of "tourist accommodation" (44%, including 22% nationwide), cultural places (38%, including 18% nationwide) or parks attractions and leisure (37%, including 17% nationwide).
