Things looked very bad. A 16-year-old boy, who had been given a suspended sentence the day before by a judge of the children's court, tried to escape police control in Mulhouse on Wednesday. In his escape, the young man crashed into a car on three police vehicles, wounding three officials. He also stamped an individual's car and street furniture, before finishing his race in a security barrier. The young man explained that he wanted to go buy an ice cream.

If his passenger was released, the young driver was imprisoned for "attempted homicide on persons holding public authority, refusal to comply, hit and run, lack of driving license, lack of insurance and failure to control of the vehicle ”, before being placed in pre-trial detention.
