“As of May 23, 1,457 military personnel with positive test results were installed in military command and control bodies, associations, formations, and military units,” TASS quoted the agency as saying.
According to the ministry, the Ministry of Defense’s universities registered 738 cases of infection of military personnel, including cadets and students, as well as 402 cases of infection of civilian employees. Among the pupils of pre-university educational institutions, cases of infection have not been established.
It is specified that to date, 1,204 military personnel, 1,542 cadets, 308 pupils of pre-university educational institutions, as well as 178 people from civilian personnel have recovered.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that over 6.7 thousand beds have been trained in the country's military hospitals for patients with coronavirus infection COVID-19.
