"In the territory of the rural settlement Troitskoye of the Sunzhensky district, as well as in the cities of Sunzha and Karabulak, soil vibrations were felt," the message on the website of the State Ministry for Emergencies in the region says.

It is noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Sernovodsk municipal district of the Chechen Republic, between the rural settlements of Sernovodskoye and Assinovskoye.

There were no complaints from the population about material damage.

Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 was recorded in the Ust-Bolsheretsky district of the Kamchatka Territory.
