Pedro Sánchez holds a new meeting this Sunday with the regional presidents where he analyzes the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic and the next measures to be adopted, with his proposal to extend the state of alarm "for about a month", applicable by territory and with a downgrade of the single controller as a backdrop. The PP barons have demanded the Prime Minister to already set the criteria for the distribution of the fund of 16,000 million committed by the Executive for autonomy. The popular leader, Pablo Casado, has already anticipated the vote against his party to the new extension to the state of alarm.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo, President of Galicia, has urged the Government to define, already this May, the criteria for the distribution of the 16,000 million that the Executive is going to give to the communities. In the opinion of the President of the Xunta, if this work is left until after the summer, the autonomies are in danger of not being able to execute these funds. Your request has dealt not only with setting the distribution criteria but also establishing the tranches, the exact amount ...

Along the same lines, Juanma Moreno, President of Andalusia, has spoken, demanding that the distribution criteria be established, for which he has asked for a "consensus formula" to be arbitrated. Moreno, likewise, has expressed his concern about the way in which the Ministry of Finance may undertake, in the sense of what it can consider spending linked to the fight against the pandemic and what not. Andalusia has also claimed funds for active employment policies.

Two weeks ago, in his Saturday speech from Moncloa, Sánchez announced the approval of a special non-reimbursable fund for the autonomous communities "for social and economic reconstruction" in the face of the coronavirus crisis, endowed with 16,000 million.

In the appointment of this Sunday, the president of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, has warned that he is going to present a claim to the State of 4,000 million for the extra expense that, he considers, has generated in his community the fight against the virus.

In a critical tone, as usual, Torra has censured that during the state of alarm a restriction of fundamental rights is taking place and has asked to repeal the gag law. Torra has insisted before Sánchez on the demand that he has been making in recent days: "The right to protest must be guaranteed." And before his colleagues, he explained that the Generalitat has approved a protocol on how to regulate these protests.

Also present at the event is Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of Madrid, in whose capital there have been gatherings of people in recent days to protest against the Government, without respecting the necessary hygiene measures to avoid infections. The president of the Generalitat has offered to facilitate his protocol "if any president is interested."
