A couple was surprised in the midst of sexual intercourse on the Grand-Travers beach in La Grande-Motte, one of the most popular beaches in Montpellier, outside the confinement period. It was a neighbor who witnessed the scene who alerted the municipal police. She moved there with the gendarmes. Police and soldiers put an end to the couple's antics and drove them home.
The two members of the couple, both living in La Grande-Motte, were fined 135 euros each, for non-compliance with the confinement linked to the coronavirus pandemic.
