  On the morning of the 9th local time, the Civil Defense and Meteorological Department of the Veneto Region issued an avalanche warning. It is expected that the Marmolada Glacier and the Punta Penha and Tofane Peaks and other regions will have avalanches locally. The local people pay attention and strictly forbid anyone to carry out mountain activities.

  After the avalanche, the Italian Army ’s mountain infantry rescuers and Trentino-Alto Adige Autonomous Region search and rescue team, together with the local search and rescue team, took a rescue helicopter to the avalanche area to find the missing person.
