According to TASS, referring to the agency, the number of detected cases of coronavirus from March to May 4 in the army and military educational institutions exceeded 3,180.
“During continuous testing in the Armed Forces of Russia between March and May 4, 1384 troops were identified with positive results,” the bulletin says.
The ministry also adds that COVID-19 was detected in 209 pupils of pre-university educational institutions, 1,247 cases of infection were detected at universities of the Ministry of Defense, and another 349 cases were among civilian personnel.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that over 6.7 thousand beds have been trained in military hospitals for patients with coronavirus infection COVID-19.
