“In the course of continuous testing in the Armed Forces of Russia from March to May 3, 1,254 military personnel were installed with positive results,” RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.
It is noted that of these, 344 people undergo treatment in hospitals of the Ministry of Defense, 375 in isolation centers at the duty station, 13 people in medical institutions of the civil health system, 522 people are isolated at home, 157 have recovered.
Also, according to the ministry, the number of military personnel, including cadets and students, in higher military educational institutions with positive results of testing for coronavirus, reached the mark of 1228 people.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that over 6.7 thousand beds have been trained in military hospitals for patients with coronavirus infection COVID-19.
