To give the alarm to the Forces of the Some residents of the building were ordered when they noticed feet protruding from the edge of the parapet and a strong burning smell from a terrace on the second floor.

As soon as the fire brigade arrived on the spot, they reached the balcony while the Carabinieri del Ris entered the apartment and found a woman with apparent mental disabilities, in a state of shock, likely to live with the charred man.

The woman is heard by the Carabinieri.

The charred body of man, found on the terrace by the firemen, is not identifiable. During the inspection of the other rooms, no signs of fire were detected. The apartment would have been found in a state of decay.

On the spot, in addition to the Fire Brigade, the 118 health workers and the Carabinieri who intervened with four cars in addition to the coroner and the PM on duty.

Investigations by the Carabinieri are currently underway, which at the moment do not exclude any lead: a murder is suspected but no hypothesis is left aside, including natural death.
