Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that they exclude vehicles, which include members of one family, or first-degree relatives, from a violation of "exceeding the number of passengers by more than three people", which was recently started in the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus (Covid- 19).

Fathers and mothers told «Emirates Today» that they had children who had not taken to the streets for about two months, in compliance with the state’s measures to prevent corona virus (Covid 19), and for fear of their safety, in addition to their fear of being exposed to traffic violations, if accompanied Their children are on recreational rides inside the vehicle.

For its part, Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that it applies a violation to the driver of the vehicle in the event that the number of its passengers exceeds three people, and its value is a fine of 1000 dirhams, pointing out that this violation is limited to taxi drivers, and drivers who accompany passengers who are not related to the first degree, While excluding from this violation drivers who accompany passengers from their families and their families, in order to strengthen family ties, and not to leave the children alone in homes.

In March, the Public Prosecution introduced a regulation for controlling violations and administrative penalties issued by Cabinet Resolution No. 17 of 2020 regarding the regulation for controlling violations, precautionary measures, instructions and duties imposed to reduce the spread of the new Corona virus.

The decision specified 14 violations, for which the perpetrators are subjected to a package of penalties, which includes fines ranging between 500 and 50 thousand dirhams, in addition to administrative penalties that amount to the administrative closure, in addition to doubling the fine in the event of a repeat of the violation, up to referring the violator to the Emergency Prosecution, Crises and Disasters upon Committing a violation for the third time. The decision included imposing a fine of 1,000 dirhams for the driver of each vehicle, whose number of passengers allowed per vehicle exceeds three persons. In a related context, Abu Dhabi Police General Command called on drivers to avoid personal touches while driving, especially the phone while driving and shopping, and using headphones to enhance safe driving and the application of precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

She emphasized the preventive measures that the concerned authorities advised individuals to wear gloves, when leaving the house, and to constantly replace them when moving from one place to another and to avoid touching personal items when wearing gloves, especially items that are frequently used like the phone, in addition to disposing of gloves in a safe way after Finishing the purchase, touching surfaces, or when dealing with various tools, stressing washing hands well with soap and water after disposing of gloves. She drew attention to the danger of using the phone and social media while driving the vehicle, which constitutes a serious risk to the driver and his companions, obstructing traffic, and accidents. And she stressed the lack of complacency in the application of the law in the event of committing a violation of "busy outside the road while driving", which is considered a serious violation, and its financial fine is 800 dirhams, in addition to four traffic points.

1000 dirhams fine

The Abu Dhabi Police General Command warned against dumping masks and gloves on roads and public facilities after using them, as they pose health and environmental risks to society, and urged to take positive behaviors, which enhance the preservation of the environment and the cultural appearance of public facilities.

It stated that the Traffic Law stated, in Article 71, that "throwing waste from vehicles on the road is an offense while driving, a fine of 1,000 dirhams, and the registration of six traffic points for violating drivers."
