Updated data in Italy and worldwide

The decline in coronavirus patients in Italy continues for the sixth consecutive day. 105,847 are currently positive, 680 less than yesterday. The data was provided by the Civil Protection.

The number of victims rose to 26,384 , an increase of 415 in one day. Yesterday the increase had been 420.

63,120 people recovered , an increase compared to yesterday of 2,622. The increase yesterday was 2,992.

The downward trend in ICU admissions continues . To date there are 2,102, 71 fewer than yesterday. Of these, 724 are in Lombardy, 32 fewer than yesterday.

Of the total 105,847 coronavirus patients , 21,533 are hospitalized with symptoms, 535 fewer than yesterday, and 82,212 are those in home isolation, declining for the first time since the beginning of the emergency of 74 patients.

The number of infected people - including dead and healed - is 195,351, an increase compared to yesterday of 2,357. The increase yesterday was 3,021.

To date, 1,707,743 swabs have been carried out, involving a total of 1,186,526 people. The increase in the number of swabs compared to yesterday is 65,387. Of the over one million 700 thousand tampons, over 790 thousand were performed in Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and Veneto.
