Russian diplomats appreciate Kiev blocking draft resolution at UN

This opinion was expressed by diplomats from the Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN.

Earlier, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba on Twitter announced that the Ukrainian side was blocking the Russian resolution to combat COVID-19 in the organization’s General Assembly.

“Our Ukrainian colleagues did not like the call to act in the spirit of good neighborliness, which, they say, is inappropriate from the“ aggressor state ”, with which Ukrainian propaganda is persistently and contrary to facts
and common sense trying to expose Russia,” the commentary of the Russian Permanent Mission to the UN says .

According to Russian diplomats, the position of their Ukrainian colleagues is "blasphemous" and undermining international cooperation in the fight against COVID-19.

In early April, Russia condemned the blocking of the declaration on the fight against coronavirus at the UN General Assembly.
