Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has announced a gradual return to provide mass transportation service that includes Dubai Metro, public transportation buses and taxis, in line with the decision of the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, in coordination with the Control and Control Center to combat Corona Virus.

The authority indicated that as of Sunday, April 26, 2020, it will operate the Dubai metro and public transport buses, with the usual tariff, and precautionary and preventive health and preventive measures will be applied, the application of physical spacing in buses and metro, and compelling passengers to wear masks while using buses and metro and in all facilities attached It confirms that it continues to apply the procedures currently used in taxis, as the number of passengers is limited to only two passengers in the back seat of each vehicle, with health isolation separators installed on the taxis to isolate the driver from the passengers, to ensure that Li levels of protection to its users.

The working hours of the Dubai Metro will be from seven in the morning until eleven in the evening from Saturday to Thursday, and from ten in the morning until eleven in the evening on Fridays. Buses will return to their regular schedule during the day, with 13 lines running from 10 pm until 6 am and they are 8, 10, 12, A13, 17, 24, C01, C07, F18, F21, F34, F43 and X23, at a rate of every 30 minutes.

These lines serve 19 government and private hospitals, including the following hospitals: Rashid, Latifa, Dubai, Al Baraha, Zulekha, NMC, Iranian, American and Saudi German in its two branches in Dubai Healthcare City Al Barsha, Emirates Specialist, Madinah Mediclinic, and Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospitals, Dubai Dental Center, Dr. Reda Hospital, American Heart Center, Safir Center for Daily Surgery, PE Health Center for Daily Surgery, and Emirates Integrated Center for Medicine and Surgery. The usual tariff for buses and taxis will take place in the emirate.

The authority also announced that public parking fees will be calculated from Sunday, April 26, 2020, from eight in the morning until six in the evening, and the second period from eight in the evening until twelve in the middle of the night.
