“The ministers discussed the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection in the world, reviewed the measures taken by both parties to counter the pandemic,” the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website said in a statement.
It is noted that a high assessment was given to the interaction of countries on this issue.
“Mutual attitude was confirmed to strengthen cooperation in order to protect the life and health of citizens of the two countries,” the text says.
Earlier, medical experts from China, who arrived in Russia to assist in the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19, evaluated the measures against coronavirus taken by the Russian authorities.
