Abu Dhabi Police revealed to «Emirates Today» that it has monitored videos that have recently spread on social networking sites, during which students at the university stage, photographing themselves with mobile phones while driving the vehicle, and next to them computers during the process of remote study, accompanied by irresponsible comments and their pride By circumventing the false presence of lessons, just by running them on computers without following them, then posting these videos on social media.
Abu Dhabi Police called on families to tighten control over their children, and urged them to pursue their lessons through distance education, during this period, from home, and sensitize them to the dangers of using phones and computers while driving a vehicle, as this poses a threat to their lives and the safety of road users.
At the same time, it warned against the legal accountability of the promoters of videos that make fun of the precautionary measures implemented by the state, to limit the spread of the Corona virus, including the process of distance education.
Abu Dhabi Police called on students to commit to pursuing distance education via electronic devices in the places designated for them, and not while driving the vehicle, as this causes the drivers' attention to be distracted and leads to severe traffic accidents.
Abu Dhabi Police have warned drivers against the dangers of using phones and computers while driving vehicles, to continue studying remotely under the current conditions, and the preventive measures that the country is taking now.
