“The operational headquarters of the Leningrad region received information about an illegal hostel in Novosergievka. The raid of Rospotrebnadzor, Sledkom and the Central Internal Affairs Directorate revealed a dormitory where 154 people lived, 14 of whom lived with symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections in isolation, ”TASS quoted the press service of the regional government.
The department said that the employees of Rospotrebnadzor took tests from patients. The hostel itself is currently quarantined.
It was previously reported that over the day the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in Russia increased by 1667 and reached 13 584.
