Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin approved the procedure for registration and use of passes for moving around the city by personal and public transport. This was reported on the official website of the mayor.

Registration of passes will begin on Monday, April 13, and from Wednesday, April 15, their availability for movement around the city will be required. Sobyanin said that citizens can walk on foot without these documents, but observing the established restrictions.

“Obtaining a digital pass is required for trips on any type of personal and public transport - a motorcycle, scooter, car, taxi, metro, MCC, WDC, suburban rail and ground public transport,” said Sobyanin.

The mayor decree introduces three categories of passes. For travel related to work, a pass will be issued until April 30 inclusive. It allows travel to and from work, as well as business trips, including courier delivery of goods. The number of pass trips will not be limited.

Passes to medical facilities will be issued for 1 day for a trip to a specific medical institution.

Passes are also provided for travel for personal purposes, which are not prohibited under the high availability regime (to the store, to the cottage, to the station, etc.). Such passes will be issued twice a week, they will be valid for one day.

You can get a digital pass on the MOS.RU portal, using SMS messages or by phone.

The right to move around Moscow without a pass is reserved for military personnel, law enforcement officials, judges and other employees with a special certificate.

“At first glance, the digital badge system seems complicated. I admit that some technical problems may arise. Let's be patient. I am sure that together we will master and adjust this system, ”Sobyanin added.

In addition, at all entrances to Moscow, traffic police orders began to be on duty. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the capital.

“Currently, police officers are patrolling all areas of the capital around the clock. In addition, at all entrances to the city, squads of the State traffic inspectorate work, which control the movement of vehicles, and specify the reason for citizens to enter the capital, ”the statement said.

The department asked citizens to show awareness and not leave home without emergency.

Earlier, for the preventive work with Muscovites, the number of Rosguard patrols increased. Law enforcement officers will find out from the citizens the reason for the violation of the self-isolation regime and check the documents.
