During the Easter weekend which takes place in full confinement, 160,000 police and gendarmes ensure the application of strict confinement measures. By moving on motorcycles and using drones, they aim to detect the possible presence of walkers in the forests or on the beaches. At stations and on roads, vigilance is also maximum.

"Right now people are in good standing"

At the microphone of Europe 1, the commissioner Florent Ravel, chief of staff to the zonal management of the CRS in Marseille, takes stock of the situation in the middle of this weekend feared by the authorities. "No relaxation"

To prevent these abuses, the police are mobilized in its sector. "We crisscross all of the motorways that allow us to get out of the city of Marseille. We hold all the tolls," he said.
