US President Donald Trump said this evening that the world is facing a fierce economic crisis that will affect many, noting that these are the saddest times in light of the death of many due to the emerging Corona virus.


Trump made the remarks at the daily press conference of the US crisis cell over the emerging Corona pandemic that causes "Covid 19".


"We are fighting an enemy and a stubborn opponent who is attacking everywhere, and doctors are seeking a solution," Trump said.


He added: "Trump: medical supplies are flowing naturally to the states, and we do not currently need emergency solutions."


He continued, "We have good tests and others under development to counter the spread of Corona."


On the other hand, Trump said: "We have the greatest economy in history, but we are facing a fierce crisis that will affect many."


Trump indicated that the opening of the economy will not take place before the Americans are guaranteed health.


"I will follow the advice of the doctors, who said that the economy cannot be reopened in May," he added.


On the "herd immunity" approach, Trump said: "The herd immunity approach has been tried and not worked in many countries."


Trump said: This is the saddest times in light of the death of many, but we are doing a great job.


On the financing of the World Health Organization, Trump said: "We will make an important announcement about the financing of the World Health Organization next week."


"I think the WHO may have known what was happening in China," Trump said.


In a related context, Trump indicated that "the United States may reach a point where we can ask people to start thinking about whether surgery is optional or to prevent unnecessary operations."


For its part, the US crisis cell said about Corona, and said: "We have not faced a similar crisis and we cannot expect the outputs."
