According to WHO recommendations, if a person is in close contact (within one meter) with a person who has signs of a respiratory illness, it is necessary to wear a mask, as well as observe hand hygiene and other preventive measures.
Experts also noted that improper wearing of a mask can reduce its effectiveness.
Earlier, the president of the Union of Cynological Organizations, veterinarian Vladimir Urazhevsky, in an interview with the Moscow 24 website, warned of the danger of medical masks for dogs.
