As specified in the document, the relevant work will be aimed at strengthening mutual accountability between the authorities, civil society organizations (CSOs) and the population by expanding civic participation and reducing donor dependence.

According to the authors of the document, in case of successful implementation of the initiative under consideration, CSOs will have greater opportunities in the creation of diversified partnerships with the participation of the private sector, authorities, the Kosovar diaspora and the media to overcome the problems of Kosovo's development.

“The proposed CSOs' decisions on democratic, social and economic issues at the local and national levels will become more consistent with the needs and priorities of citizens,” the authors of the text add.

Only local organizations and partners registered in Kosovo who have received assistance from USAID in the amount not exceeding $ 25 million over the past five years can apply for participation in the competition.

Earlier it was reported about the US intention to “instill” in the youth of Ukraine a sense of responsibility for the European future of the country and develop “democratic values”.

As specified, USAID planned to allocate $ 38 million for these purposes.
