“The sixth IL-76 aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces has arrived at the Batainitsa airfield (Republic of Serbia),” TASS reports.
It is noted that the corresponding airfield is located 20 kilometers northwest of Belgrade.
Earlier, the Russian embassy said that on April 3-4, it is planned to carry out 11 flights that will deliver humanitarian aid to Serbia to fight the coronavirus.
On March 26, Serbia asked Russia to help in the fight against COVID-19. On April 3, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the creation of an aviation group to deliver assistance to Serbia.
